About XNU

Facing globalization trend in higher education, Xinjiang Normal University carried out a series of plans and measures recent years in order to promote internationalization development in talent training, faculties and scientific research cooperation. International strategy has been listed among one of the three strategies for the university. Three are three international administration departments, namely Office for Internationalization Affair, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Office of Chinese International Education. Guided by Opinions of Xinjiang Normal University on Implementing Internationalization Strategy and Action Plan of Xinjiang Normal University concerning Internationalization Strategy, internationalization work is implemented powerfully with an increased multi-national sensitivity. As a result, research on Central Asia achieves remarkable results, number of international students grows steadily, advantage of Chinese International Education increases, foreign exchanges expand and internationalized training for students quickens its step, and thus the multi-national level of XJNU is lifted notably.
